Welcome to The Burns Unit website

We are a 5 piece Blues and Rock Band, with a line up consisting of: lead, rhythm, and bass guitars; drums; and vocalist(s).

We play a combination of original compositions written by our lead guitar (who is also our musical director); and other works by the ‘Stones, Santana, Clapton, ZZ Top, Queen, and many others.

However, we are not a “cover band”. All the music that we play, both our own and others, has our own interpretations. This means that you will recognise the songs right away, but they will also be an exciting, new experience for you.

Although based in the Southampton area, please contact us for events further afield. Our lead guitar lives in Wales – so even this location is possible!!!
